If you're headed toward Brevard, check road closures first. Southern Brevard got between 16 and 22 inches of rain Monday, flooding communities from Melbourne south to Grant-Valkaria. A flood warning for the hardest-hit areas ran until 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, with standing water and multiple road closures.

16 to 22 inchesof rain in southern Brevard County since midnight Monday

The rain flooded roads and forced school closures in some counties.

  • : Orlando to West Palm Beach service suspended until 8:30 p.m. Tue., Nov. 3
  • Cause: high water along the rail corridor in Brevard County
  • West Palm Beach to Miami service kept running normally

We suggest checking Brightline's website and app before you book. The rest of the week looks drier, but even small amounts of rain could be a problem where water is still standing, so stay off flooded roads.
